TheBin

TheBin is an electric-powered, all-purpose garbage bin designed to simplify waste sorting and encourage recycling. Constructed from 100% recycled materials, it includes four compartments for garbage, compost, paper, and bottles/cans. Each compartment has LED panels to display fill levels and send alerts when full. Infrared sensors activate a built-in paper shredder and a bottle/can crusher, reducing the space recyclables occupy. TheBin comes with an app that allows users to monitor waste levels, access detailed waste reports, and earn virtual rewards for reducing waste. It also integrates with Apple Smart Home, enabling remote control of features like the lid, shredder, and crusher, making waste management smarter and more efficient.
